1. Interpretation

In these Competition Rules, unless otherwise specified:

• The “Act” means the Consumer Protection Act, No. 68 of 2008;
• “POPIA” means the Protection of Personal Information Act, No. 4 of 2013;
• “Promoter” means Magis Capital (Pty) Ltd or its authorised representatives;
• “Participant” means a person who enters the Promotional Competition and meets the eligibility criteria;
• “Promotion Period” means 17 July 2025 to 31 October 2025 at 23:59;
• “Winner” means a Participant selected by random draw and notified accordingly.

2. The Consumer Protection Act

These rules are subject to the Act and may:

• Limit the Promoter’s liability;
• Require you to indemnify the Promoter;
• Confirm your consent to the Promoter’s data usage.

3. Eligibility

To qualify:

• You must be 18 years or older and a resident of South Africa.
• Employees, contractors, immediate family or associates of the Promoter or associated agencies are not eligible for the prizes.

• For VIP-related prizes, you must reside in Gauteng or be able to travel to Gauteng at your own cost.

4. Promotion Period

• The Competition runs from 17 July 2025 to 31 October 2025 at 23:59.
• No late entries will be accepted.

5. How to Enter:

Participants may enter via one or more of the following:

5.1. Follower Drive

• • Follow Magis on Instagram, Facebook and/or TikTok.
  • Tag 2 friends in the comments of the official post.
  • Stand a chance to WIN a share of Vida e Caffe vouchers (R50 x 20) for the participant and their tagged friends (upon following the page as well)

5.2. Sign-Up Drive

• • Sign up at www.magiscapital.com.
  • Share your confirmation/dashboard screenshot with #TheMagisAdvantage

• • Stand a chance to WIN one of 10 x R250 Shoprite/Checkers vouchers.

5.3. Quote Drive

• • Sign up, request a free quote on www.magiscapital.com AND accept a policy on the Magis platform.
  • You’ll be entered into the draw to WIN your share of R10 000.
  • This competition element and prize have been amended by the Promoter at their discretion.

5.4. Bonus Entries

• • For every additional 2 tagged friends, you receive 1 extra entry, up to 20 tags per user.

6. The Prizes

• Follower Growth Campaign; R1000 (20x R50) in Vida e Caffe vouchers
• Follower Prize Condition: The awarding of the grand prize is conditional upon the campaign receiving a minimum of 30 valid entries. Should the total number of valid entries fall below this threshold, the promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the prize offering without prior notice.

• Sign-up Drive Campaign; 10 x R250 Shoprite/Checkers vouchers
• Sign-Up Prize Condition: The awarding of the grand prize is conditional upon the campaign receiving a minimum of 20 valid entries. Should the total number of valid entries fall below this threshold, the promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the grand prize offering without prior notice.

• Quotation Drive Campaign; a share of R10 000.
• Grand Prize Condition: The awarding of the grand prize is conditional upon the campaign receiving a minimum of 90 valid entries. Should the total number of valid entries fall below this threshold, the promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the grand prize offering without prior notice.
• Prizes are not transferable, substitutable, or redeemable for cash unless otherwise decided by the Promoter.

7. Winner Selection & Notification

• Winners will be drawn randomly from all valid entries, through a random draw.
• Draws will be independently reviewed or audited.
• Winners will be contacted via DM or email.
• The winner of the VIP experience will be contacted by the 15th of September 2025.
• If a winner fails to respond within 72 hours, a new winner may be selected.

8. Publicity & Consent

• Participants consent to their names and/or social handles being published for announcement and marketing purposes.

• No additional compensation will be provided.

9. Indemnity & Liability

• The Promoter is not liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising from participating in this competition or use of the prize.

• Participants enter at their own risk and indemnify the Promoter.

10. POPIA Compliance

• All data is collected and processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act.

• Data will only be used for the competition and Magis-related promotional purposes.

11. General

• The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate this competition at any time.
• These Ts & Cs are final and binding.
• This competition is not endorsed by Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or any third party.
